Performance Monitoring

6.1    Performance standards for compliance in social housing are designed to ensure that housing providers deliver high-quality, safe, and secure living environments for tenants.

6.2    These standards typically cover a range of criteria, including the maintenance of housing quality, adherence to health and safety regulations, and the provision of essential services. Compliance involves regular inspections, transparent reporting, and prompt resolution of any issues raised by tenants. By meeting these standards, social housing providers can ensure that their properties are well-managed, and that residents' needs are consistently met, fostering a sense of community and trust.

6.3    We will report regularly to Cabinet Housing Committee on all areas of compliance and include benchmarking with other social landlords who are also members of HouseMark.

6.4    In addition, the Tenant Satisfaction Measures include management performance measures including those for compliance and are reported directly to the Regulator of Social Housing.
