Financial Implications

5.1 There are no new financial implications arising from the CCTV Policy. Provision and maintenance of CCTV is covered by existing budgets.

5.2 Failure to meet the legal requirements of the Information Commissioner’s Office or Office of Surveillance Commissioners pertaining to the operation of CCTV could result in substantial fines.
