Re-use of public sector information policy

6.1    Where information is published on the website, the public will have free access to re-use information without submitting an RPSI request. 

6.2    Members of the public who re-use public sector information must reference that the information was created by Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council and, where possible, provide a link to the original information.

6.3    The following types of information is exempt from the Open Government Website and may not be used for the purposes specified above:
•    Personal information
•    Organisational logos or crests, except where they form an integral part of information subject to OGL (E.g. a report with the Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council crest).
•    Information where Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council does not own the copyright, which has been provided by and is owned by a third party.
•    Intellectual property which has a patent, trademark, or is covered by other design rights.
