This award recognises a local business that has made a significant and positive impact on the community and/or local economy.

Criteria

Nominees will have demonstrated clear contribution beyond normal commercial activity, including supporting local residents, organisations, or initiatives that benefit Welwyn Hatfield. This may include creating employment opportunities, supporting community projects or charities, promoting sustainability, or contributing to the vitality and wellbeing of the local area. Consideration will also be given to businesses that show strong values, innovation, and a commitment to making a lasting and meaningful difference within the community.
