Climate Impact Award

This award recognises an individual, groups or organisations that have demonstrated outstanding commitment to tackling climate change and promoting environmental sustainability within Welwyn Hatfield.

Criteria

Nominees will have demonstrated clear action to reduce carbon emissions, improve sustainability, or support climate resilience. This may include initiatives such as litter picking, reducing waste and energy use, promoting renewable energy, encouraging sustainable transport, enhancing biodiversity, or delivering education and engagement on climate issues. Consideration will also be given to those whose work has delivered tangible outcomes, inspired behaviour change, and created a lasting positive environmental impact within the community.
