About Annual Community Grants
Welwyn Hatfield Annual Community Grants are available to specific organisations to help fund core running costs of the project.
The Community Grant funding is for projects that make a positive impact on the community.
Applications will be reviewed by the Grants Board in February 2026.
The closing date for all application forms and supporting documents to be sent in is11 January 2026.
Please contact grants@welhat.gov.uk if there are any issues with uploads, as any missing documents will be classed a non-compliant bid and will not be taken to grants board for review.
Applications will not be accepted unless they have been fully completed by this date and on the correct application form.
You can apply for grant funding of up to £15,000.
All applications must be for new projects (not funded by the Council in the last 2 years).
