Information Request

4.1 An information request is a request submitted under the FOI 2000, EIR 2004 , or the DPA 2018 and the GDPR in the form of a Subject Access Request.

Data Subject

4.2 A Data Subject is an individual whom personal information relates to.

Requester

4.3 The person making the request for information.

Public Interest Test

4.4 An exercise to determine whether the public benefit of disclosure outweighs the interest in withholding the information. Private interests, such as personal or commercial concerns, are not relevant to this assessment.

Exemption

4.5 A legal basis for withholding requested information.

Public Domain

4.6 A term commonly used to describe information available to the public as a whole.

Working day

4.7 A working day is a weekday and excludes bank holidays and/or non-business days.
