Mutual exchange policy

10.1 Applicants will need to provide  one form of photographic proof of identity for all incoming tenants and any other person over 16 included on the application.  This would normally be a passport or a photo driving licence.   We will also need at least one other form of identification for every person on the application. . The documents we can accept include:

• Birth certificate

• Marriage Certificate

• Medical Card

• Driving Licence

• Immigration documentation

• Proof of Benefit

 10.2 In addition to identification we will require proof of address for all incoming tenants and anyone over the age of 16 included in the application.  The documents can include any of the following:

• Tenancy Agreement

• Recent bank or credit card statement (within the last three months0

• Recent utility bill (also within the last three months)

• If you are living with a parent or guardian, a letter from them confirming your residence, plus proof of their address

10.3 For children under the age of 16 included on an application you will need to provide a copy of the full Birth Certificate for each child and proof the child lives with you.  This would normally be proof of :

• Child Benefit

• Universal Credit and/or

• A letter from the child’s school and any other agencies supporting the family
