Residents Panel
Our Residents Panel are a group of Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council tenants and leaseholders.
The panel act as a ‘critical friend’ to the council.
It helps us to:
- find areas for improvement
- make sure we are transparent
- make sure we met regulatory standards.
This helps us to builds trust, communicate better and improve the quality of our services.
The main responsibilities of the panel are to:
- look at our housing services and tell us how we can make them better
- look at our Resident Involvement Strategy
- check our draft policies and procedures
- check our performance data and challenge it if needed
You do not need any previous experience to join.
You just need to be enthusiastic and want to make a difference.
It is a great way to meet new people.
You will also get useful volunteering experience and work skills.
