Culture and Workforce

5.1    Over the last 3 years we have reviewed and updated our corporate values and behaviours, introduced a new performance management strategy, engaged staff through a new, regular staff survey as well as using digital tools to enhance recruitment.
5.2    Successful delivery of this strategy and the council’s overall vision and priorities links to the development of our workforce.
5.3    We understand learning and development plays a key role in ensuring staff feel valued, engaged and perform at their best. 
5.4    Through this strategy, we will focus on this by: 
5.4.1    Delivering the commitments of the council’s new learning and development policy
