Project Management and Service Improvement

6.1    Over the last 3 years we have continued to drive service improvements and introduce new services, such as the opening of our first ever crematorium, working with a new partner to deliver our council tax and benefits service and enhancing our community engagement.
6.2    A new project management framework has been introduced across the organisation to support services to manage projects and change, as well as enhanced project and project risk monitoring. 
6.3    Through this strategy, we will be project delivery focussed through: 
6.3.1    Continuing to embed our project management framework 
•    We will ensure good governance is in place for our strategic projects. 
6.3.2    Driving Service Improvements
•    We will work with services to identify where services can be improved. 
6.3.3    Preparing for expected inspection 
•    We will prepare for the inspection of our Housing Services from the Regulator of Social Housing to make sure that we are fully transparent in our approach and ready to make continuous improvements.
