Parking Services Works Programme (PSWP)

We get many requests for parking restrictions and/or improvements. We add these to the Parking Services Investigation List for consideration for a future parking work programme.

Not every request can be considered due to:

  • volume of requests from different households
  • safety concerns
  • major developments that are taking place nearby

If your road/area is not listed you can request it is considered for a future parking consultation.

A works programme covering 2024-2026 was considered in February 2024 at the Cabinet Planning and Parking Panel.

A new Parking Services works programme (PSWP) for 2026-2028 was agreed on 21 January 2026 at the Cabinet Planning and Parking Panel

An estimated timeline of when consultations start in 2026/2028 can be seen in part 8, Appendix C of the meeting link.
