19.1 We aim to inspect at least 15% of general needs homes annually. The annual programme will be based on insights and service priorities to help ensure tenancy sustainability. New tenancies that have had a six-week visit in the last three years will be in group three.

Tenancies that have not had any contact with the Housing Department within the last 12 months
Persistent no access for compliance inspections
Tenancies identified by the Neighbourhood Housing Officer for example known vulnerabilities
Tenancies that have not had agreed access for the annual gas safety inspections or electrical safety checks
New tenancies

Mutual Exchange
Change of tenancies including successions
3 – Low Risk
Last tenancy audit or new tenancy visit more than 3 years ago
